The Village

The Villaggio del Sole is situated on the peaceful and panoramic hills of Ventimiglia, renowned for their mild climate the whole year round.

In our establishment you may enjoy the outside swimming pool with Bar service, the many relaxation corners, open-air barbeque and there is a play area for the children.

We offer our guests spacious and bright one-room, two-room and three-room flats for a maximum of 6 persons. For each lodging you will be assigned an internal parking space.

Our position allows you to quickly reach the lovely resorts of the French Riviera and the Flower Riviera: the elegant Mentone(7 kilometers), the fascinating Montecarlo(15 kilometers), the renowned Sanremo(15 kilometers), Dolceacqua(6 kilometers), Nice(40 kilometers) and for all those who are intrigued by the mysterious marine world, Genova houses Italy’s largest aquarium.

In just a few minutes you arrive at the town center (4 kilometers), at the adjacent beaches, shops and supermarkets (every Friday there is an open-air market which in recent years has become a veritable tourist attraction). Take note: the access road is narrow and uphill, typical of Liguria.

Ventimiglia

Ventimiglia, the city of the Black Corsair, is famous for its Friday market and for the Battle of the Flowers. It is the most prominent city of the Flower Riviera. It overlooks the sea and is situated between San Remo and Monte Carlo, 6 kilometers from the French border.

From the Village one may admire Ventimiglia split by the Roja river which divides it into two parts: Ventimiglia Alta of medieval origin and with the historical town center, and the other, decidedly more modern part on the left side of the river.

There are countless cafes, restaurants and liquor stores, 1 City Theater (cinema), small football fields and tennis courts… and only a few minutes away you will find the riding stables and swimming pool.
